...got to boogie down to the heart of texas and shoot a freelance event...actually, i did this last year as well, which means i've had this blog for 365 plus...wow...the event was a weekend golf tournament...heisman winners from years past donate their time to hit a few for charity...i think the players don't mind me hanging around, because i don't know who they are (really) and talk to them about anything but sports, instead of asking about some coach from Notre Dame or seeing if they remember the game from 1964 where they dropped the ball...up top there is tim brown watching mike rozier tee off...since i was covering the event for the organizers, they like shots of media outlets covering the event more than golf stuff...like this:

...have i mentioned that austin has been voted 'MY FAVORITE PLACE IN THE WORLD' four years in a row...
