end of may post...

...it drifted by in a strange way...border trip, wedding, KC visit, wet concert...and it seems that next month will have just as many interesting things...i hope...

music- kinda lovin' the HEALTH remix record...flows really well and it is quite bumpin'...actually can't wait for two releases in june i) new wolf parade and ii) hercules and love affair debut...i mean have you heard this shit...both are already on my top ten at the end of the year...

drink- ice cream...ya know, milkshakes...

film- i fell in love with the darjeeling limited...don't know why it took so long to see, probably because i didn't like the life aquatic, but this one is amazing...and right now a gang of the friends are in india...lucky ducks...

photo: the ninja himself...eli reed...i don't know why this isn't in his portfolio...i love it, its from a kickboxing championship in the uk...its in the magnum degrees book, which i picked up used for ten dollars and is a fun one, because it jumps all over the place...i wish i could have gotten something like this when shooting mixed martial arts...damn, eli, damn...

wasting my time with- watching the entire series of twin peaks...why did they cancel this, huh?

funny story- the other day, the power went out...my land lady and i assumed either somebody hit a pole, or a tree limb took a line out...pretty soon, the electric company sends out two guys to check her house, because it is the only one that lost power...one guy went to investigate while the other guarded the car (good thing too, i mean, given the chance jackie and i would have stripped that truck)...not a moment after looking at the transistor pole, the first guy came back, a quick interaction followed:
'found it...'
'squirrel?'
'yea, squirrel.'
so, a squirrel jumped on the live wire and got fried...happens all the time...i don't know why i thought it funny...here is the dead sob...oh, and i didn't vignette those corners...

...that photo up top is a guy cross-dressing and being held ransom...for charity...

That squirrel photo is nuts... so is the Eli Reed photo. I was watching a freestyle martial arts fighting match on abc last night... it was on regular prime time tv... two guys beating the crap out of each other. Let me know the next time you're in Kansas City.

I really love your monthly summaries; your writing is great. It also makes me miss Jackie. That reminds me, tell me what y'all's address is so I can send something. Jackie will love it. Oh, and that Eli photo is unbelievable. I'd definitely never seen that one. Hope you're well!
