now we play the waiting game...

...just finished up my nppa bop submission for the year end contest...the portfolio rang in at 35 images, which hailed from three states, two jobs, and one freelance gig...funny that photographers/journalists spend the first month of the new year sifting through the last twelve, hardly making sense of anything...fun to go through the archive and see how the images jump from a great shoot in rural virginia to rainy radiohead to a friend's wedding to treating new york like a playground to a new internship/job to the ottobar to obamarama to this to that to the new year...2008 was bananas, or wait, maybe epic, no bananas...definitely bananas...now i'm ready to start 2009, only 11 more months of shooting before next year's memory jog...

...above is a photo i enjoy for various reason, most don't like it...i waited, watching this girl, she was bored while working at an ice cream stand toward the end of summer...
